Project Manager, Medical Affairs and Wellness Office Salary: $88,948 - $104,644 - $120,341 per year. Contract: Temporary – until December 31, 2026. Hours: 37.5 (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm). Location: Park Royal office – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Remote considered). About The Role As Project Manager, you will manage and oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of key initiatives for the Medical Affairs and Wellness Office (MAWO). You will be responsible for delivering a set of strategic priorities aimed at strengthening MAWO recruitment and retention pathways, governance structures, policy frameworks, and operational infrastructure. You will also work collaboratively and respectfully with First Nations and Indigenous partners, regional and provincial health authorities. Additionally, you will monitor, anticipate and identify project issues and risks, recommend solutions and work with senior management to implement solutions. Education A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, Business, Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Project Management Professional certification through Project Management Institute is an asset. Experience 3-5 years of recent experience in managing multiple initiatives, and complex projects related to program implementation or business transformation preferably in a healthcare system or health organization. Experience and/or knowledge of Medical Affairs and/or recruitment and retention of Medical Professionals is desirable. Proven experience in change management. Previous experience in managing multi‑year projects and deliverables. Previous experience in managing business‑driven or business transformation projects. Advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including Project and Visio. Knowledge Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management methodology and best practices. Knowledge of project management techniques and tools. Knowledge of BC and Canadian healthcare system. Pay Range The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
