Senior Manager, Risk Data & Analytics – goeasy Ltd. Location : Canada (Pickerng office; work three days onsite per week) We are a leading alternative consumer lender and are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Manager to lead data‑driven risk strategies. The role involves deep analytical work to monitor portfolio performance, forecast key metrics, and support senior leadership with actionable insights that optimise credit decisioning and financial outcomes. What You Will Be Doing Data Mining, Modeling and Analysis Identify, evaluate, and implement credit policy and underwriting changes aligned with risk appetite. Monitor credit risk trends and support senior management decision‑making. Conduct deep analytical dives to diagnose drivers of portfolio changes and document findings. Assist in developing risk models for origination, account management and collections. Recommend improvements to credit risk decision‑making and underwriting strategies. Contribute to a robust data infrastructure for model development and analytics. Collaborate with departments to provide risk analytics that enhance decision‑making. Forecast key business metrics (loss rates, approval rates, loan conversion rates, credit quality). Forecasting and Reporting Develop and maintain risk and performance reports that evaluate overall credit risk. Monitor delinquency and charge‑off trends by vintage and segment levels. Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate impact of policy changes. Provide independent assessment of the risk profile of the LendCare division. Required Experience & Qualifications 7+ years in retail and/or financial services credit risk management and analytics. Strong knowledge of credit risk/portfolio management procedures and principles. Degree in statistics, mathematics or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred). Proficiency in data mining and statistical modelling, with experience in SAS, SQL and other data tools. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to communicate findings clearly. Prior management experience leading a team of analysts. Experience in creating and maintaining credit risk models and reporting. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple timelines. Strong communication and organisational skills.
