Overview 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Our client in the benefits insurance sector is seeking a contract based Enterprise Application Architect. FOcus will be on modernization and integration enterprise systems across a multi-cloud environment (Azure, GCP, AWS). Location: Hybrid 2d Toronto Duration: 6 months Responsibilities Define and instantiate enterprise architecture by actively building, configuring, and guiding implementation of solutions across Azure and GCP. Move beyond slideware to hands-on execution: prototype, validate, and operationalize architecture patterns. Design, implement, and optimize applications in Azure (including Azure B2C, Entra ID, Purview, DLP) and custom-built GCP environments. Ensure cloud-native best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization. Lead the refactoring and modernization of legacy .NET and Oracle-based systems into microservice/container based applications. Oversee transition plans, gap analysis, and re-platforming strategies. Architect and govern integration with Azure B2C , Entra ID , and broader identity and access management strategies. Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure data protection (Purview, DLP, Zero Trust principles). Enforce architecture standards, technical governance, and reusable patterns. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards. Requirements 10+ years in enterprise application architecture or senior solution design roles Deep experience in Azure , Azure B2C , Entra ID , and cloud-native architectures Hands-on knowledge of GCP custom solutions and multi-cloud integration challenges Expertise in .NET , Oracle , and modernizing monoliths to microservices Strong background in Kubernetes , containerization , and hybrid cloud environments Experience with data governance, Microsoft Purview , and DLP tools Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as MS Teams , CRM platforms Ideal: Experience in the insurance, benefits, or health services sector Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
