Overview The Associate Analyst is responsible for ensuring Electronic Fund Transfers are completed both on the Financial Institution and Accounting software, in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Responsibilities Ensure requisitions are from an approved signatory of First National Financial LP Update and input disbursement information to the appropriate software in accordance with requisition Ensure authorizations are signed by two signing officers Retrieve the status report to ensure completion of the transfer Set up and manage the records Contact the IT department immediately if system problems arise Ensure a journal entry is posted in the correct accounting software according to the current accounting procedures Follow up with internal departments for incomplete requests and notify parties involved Keep abreast of internal policies and procedures Work to resolve difficult situations and elevate to management when necessary Handle mortgage inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner Work on any special projects as requested by Manager, Mortgage Services Other duties as assigned Qualifications Post‑secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferred Previous administration experience is an asset Strong attention to detail Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask Demonstrated ability to work quickly and in a timely manner Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods Demonstrated ability to contribute and meet team goals and objectives Working Environment and Physical Demands Office environment Periods of high volume with tight timelines Long periods of stationary position/sitting Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (e.g. using a keyboard and mouse) Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen Multi‑tasking may include speaking to customers on a phone call while looking up information on a computer program Benefits Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment Competitive Compensation Comprehensive benefits program (e.g., Health Spending Account, Maternity and Parental Leave Top Up) Hybrid working environment Extensive training programs to set our employees up for success Modern office environment conducive to collaboration Supportive teamwork culture Opportunities to give back to the community and participate in charitable events Ongoing social events throughout the year About the Company Founded in 1988, First National is one of Canada’s largest non‑bank lenders.
