Responsibilities Lead the dynamic planning, scheduling and execution of audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls and financial/accounting transactions with Indigenous communities and enterprises Deliver your industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks and ways to deliver added value; ensure clients’ needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop Maintain quality control using your specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business, financial entries and reports Create connections within the vibrant Indigenous community, developing business development opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to meet client needs Mentor, motivate and inspire team members towards professional and personal growth through clear guidance, constructive feedback, and impactful performance reviews Maintain flexibility to travel to engage with client in-person Skills And Experience CPA designation 4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience Experience working with Indigenous communities or enterprises an asset Strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP offers customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle.
