Mercor Video Director Hourly contract position (10–40 hrs/week) remote. Compensation: $70–$200 per hour (negotiated based on skill). Organization: Mercor. Referral partner: Crossing Hurdles. Role Responsibilities Use professional expertise to create realistic, industry‑based questions and scenarios relevant to film, television, and digital production. Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, creativity, and production feasibility. Develop prompts reflecting directing techniques, production planning, budgeting, and team coordination. Contribute to advancing AI systems that emulate real‑world decision‑making in media production. Requirements Strong experience as a Producer and Director in film, TV, or digital media. Based in the U.S., U.K., or Canada. Excellent understanding of storytelling, production management, and creative execution. Strong written and analytical communication skills.
