About the Position:

Woodcliffe Landmark Properties and its group of companies are seeking a passionate and talented Digital Marketing Specialist with B2B and B2C experience to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will use digital channels to build corporate awareness for Woodcliffe and its affiliates, as well as drive demand generation for the Waterworks Food Hall. As our first marketing hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand and driving growth at this crucial stage of our development.

This role is well-suited for a candidate looking to immerse themselves in all marketing verticals and contribute to every aspect of corporate, development, and asset management marketing within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Manage and curate content for social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business) to build brand awareness.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and oversee community management for all social media channels.
  • Develop and manage paid social media budgets, create compelling ad copy and visuals, and optimize campaigns for ROI.


Website and Email Management:

  • Manage and maintain the company website (WordPress), ensuring SEO best practices are followed.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp), including content creation, campaign development, and subscriber engagement.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all social media and email campaigns using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.


Marketing Innovation:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our online presence and marketing technology stack.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of B2C and B2B marketing principles.
  • Experience with content creation, copywriting, and social media management.
  • Proficiency in ad platforms (e.g., Meta Business Ads, Google Ads).
  • Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP) like Mailchimp and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is comfortable working within a team and independently.
  • Passion for the hospitality and real estate development industry (a plus).

Our latest project, Waterworks Food Hall, is a mixed-use development in the heart of King West. This project integrates residential condominiums, a YMCA, and a European-style food hall, which opened to the public in July 2024. The Waterworks Food Hall, situated in the restored Waterworks building, offers 20 day-to-evening dining options featuring globally inspired culinary artisans and beverage offerings, along with a dedicated 500-person private event space.
