Department: Maintenance Service Location: Anywhere in Canada, with regular travel to wind farms across the countryReports to: Manager, Technical Support Operations ENERCON Canada is seeking a Team Supervisor – Electrical Technical Services to coordinate all electrical support activities for its Canadian wind farm portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with the Team Lead – Mechanical Technical Services, as well as with Service teams in other regions worldwide and project teams at our headquarters in Germany.You will be responsible for four key areas: Managing a team of mobile technicians Coordinating major component exchanges Providing second-level electrical technical support Grid Operation Main Responsibilities Team Management and Planning Define, prioritize, and execute annual objectives and workload for each sub-team. Contribute to annual budget preparation and monitor cost centers. Allocate tasks based on priorities and deadlines. Act as an escalation point for team members and stakeholders. Major Component Exchanges Coordinate critical component replacements with internal and international stakeholders. Mobile Technicians Lead a team of 18 mobile technicians and optimize their travel across Canada. Develop specialized tool sets, set objectives, and monitor performance. Grid Operation Provide first- and second-level technical support for grid connection, production, and compliance with grid codes. Diagnose and resolve electrical failures related to transformers and switchgear, and document solutions. Second-Level Electrical Technical Support Perform root cause analyses on turbine electrical systems and draft technical bulletins. Deliver targeted training to field teams and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-Team Collaboration Align priorities with the Mechanical Team Lead (component exchanges, inspections, planned outages). Collaborate with Service teams in other regions and project teams at headquarters in Germany to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety standards. Profile Post-secondary degree in Electrical Technical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management or supervising maintenance teams. In-depth knowledge of wind technology and best maintenance practices. Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Languages: Fluency in French and knowledge of English required, due to the national scope of operations and the need to collaborate with teams outside Quebec, headquarters in Germany, and international stakeholders. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently (≈ 20–30%). Analytical mindset, leadership skills, organizational ability, and commitment to ENERCON’s values of integrity and excellence.
