Type: Permanent Fully On-Site in Calgary, Alberta Rate : $90,000/year - $95,000/year Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join one of Canada leading Aviation companies on a full-time basis, sitting out of Calgary AB. The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is directly accountable for product control including final inspection, in process inspections, documentation and control of non-conforming material; control and verification of production process changes, tooling control, and control of monitoring and measuring devices. Required Skills & Experience - A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in an inspection/Quality control role. - 4 years' experience working with aircraft. - M1 license is required. - Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulation CAR 561, 571 and CAR Std. 57,561 - Knowledge and ability to read and understand complex aircraft design drawings/blueprints and perform measurements/testing of parts made to these designs. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience - M2 license is a bonus and will be compensated for this. - A technical degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering is an asset.
