District Manager, Aftersales WZ Hyundai Motor Company invites applications for the District Manager, Aftersales WZ role. The position focuses on ensuring industry‑leading customer experience and parts & service goals at dealerships in the assigned district. Location: southern Alberta or Saskatchewan. This is a home‑office role with 50‑75% dealership travel. The role reports to the Assistant Zone Manager, Aftersales, in Hyundai Canada’s Western Zone office in Burnaby, BC. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between Hyundai Canada and the assigned dealerships for all aftersales operations. Monitor and analyze dealer performance metrics and collaborate with dealers to develop strategic action plans that leverage best practices for continuous improvement. Ensure dealers meet Hyundai standards for service quality, warranty compliance and operational efficiency. Manage retail Parts & Accessories sales targets and optimize performance in the district: Oversee dealer parts sales target achievement and loyalty levels. Manage accessory sales processes & PNVR achievement. Support service marketing campaigns and booking programs. Support national accounts (chemicals, tires, etc.). Handle backorder & VOR inquiries. Review and grow dealership fixed operations: Customer retention. Dealership service processes (DSOM). Fixed absorption, customer pay sales, workshop capacity, efficiency, and productivity. Fixed right, first time and utilization of Digital Service Services. Service department profitability. Customer Experience Service process: Dealership reviews, tablet check‑in process, mystery shops. Customer Relations incidents / Dealer Case Management for service cases. Evaluate dealerships on the service deliverables of Hyundai’s exclusive Signature Certification program. Collaborate with Zone Warranty Support Manager to address dealer warranty performance. Ensure fulfillment of Aftersales Training Registrations / Technical Training (team member certification). Engage dealer participation in national programs (PoP, digital displays, tablet‑based services, Hyundai Digital Service). What You Will Bring Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 5–7 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Action‑oriented, with strong organization and negotiation abilities. Experience in automotive aftersales is an asset. Technical automotive knowledge. Ability to manage diverse groups and navigate change. Professional image with internal and external customers. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver abstract. Independence and willingness to travel regularly.
