Advisor, Legal & Compliance OBSI – Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments seeks a qualified Advisor, Legal & Compliance to join our ombudsman team. The role involves supporting the organization’s legal, compliance, complaints, privacy, and corporate secretarial functions to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory and governance requirements and to maintain high standards of accountability. Key responsibilities include managing compliance complaint, service complaint, privacy, and reconsideration inboxes; assisting with compliance investigations and audits; preparing reports and correspondence; supporting regulatory reporting and documentation; coordinating board meetings and maintaining corporate records; and liaising with internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure accurate and timely compliance with all obligations. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
