You’re someone who lights up when creating clever, custom WordPress builds. You know your way around PHP, Gutenberg, modern tooling, and the ins and outs of building secure, fast, accessible sites. But you’re also great with people – whether you’re chatting with clients, pairing with a designer, or guiding other developers through a tricky build. You enjoy sharing knowledge, asking questions, and championing best practices. You don’t need to tick every box to apply. Deep experience with WordPress, PHP, and modern theme/plugin development An understanding of accessibility, performance, and best practices Experience working across multiple projects (agency or similar) Confidence in discussing ideas with clients and colleagues Bonus points if you have: Headless WordPress experience React knowledge An eye for UX and user-centred thinking What you’ll be doing Building bespoke WordPress themes and plugins that are polished, performant, and easy to maintain Working with our designers to bring digital experiences to life Leading technical decisions on projects Helping shape our WordPress approach as we grow Supporting other devs through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing Working on projects that sit in that sweet spot between purposeful and creatively satisfying If we think we’re a good match, you’ll be invited to a remote interview We will share the questions in advance Then if you’re through to the next round, you’ll be set a technical task As well as being invited to a final interview Then we will make a job offer to our new hire How to apply Please fill in the short form below with your name, contact details, CV and cover letter.
