The candidate will work with and be mentored by other project managers and superintendents in the office. Travel and time at project sites are normal for this role.The successful candidate will be mentored to manage small construction projects in the industrial environment (Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Mining, Power Generation, Environmental Controls Technology).Specific DutiesProject manage contracts between $50,000 and $1M Working with an assigned construction supervisor, directs, plans and monitors resources for project completion, assessing manpower and material requirements. Monitors quotations for engineering and manufacturing lead times for proposals. Conducts regular project review meetings to follow contract performance status. Develops strategies for project margin improvement through order changes and reduction in costs.
