The Role: Legend is hiring a Senior Delivery Lead, reporting directly to our Senior Delivery Manager. As the Senior Delivery Lead for the Sports Pillar, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the execution of key product initiatives that fuel Legend’s growth. You’ll lead a small team of Delivery Leads to ensure critical pillar initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards, while also optimising processes to enhance delivery efficiency. This is an epic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, acting as the bridge between the Sports Pillar and the wider organisation. You’ll champion delivery excellence, scaled agile transformation, and continuous improvement while fostering collaboration across teams. Your Impact: Strategic Alignment and Execution : Ensure that your teams goals are clearly defined, realistic, and aligned with the broader organisational objectives. Drive the successful execution of these goals by working with product, engineering and content teams to prioritise the right initiatives, leading the team through planning activities. Timely and Effective Project Delivery : Lead the execution of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. This includes proactively managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring transparent communication and reporting to all stakeholders. Enhanced Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a key team representative. Improved Operational Efficiency : Implement scaled agile methodologies across teams to streamline processes, enhance team efficiency, and increase predictability. You will also foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Organisational Optimisation : Lead change management initiatives that enhance operational practices across the organisation. Identifying and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency, consistency, and alignment across our teams, and acting as a representative to the pillar when alignment with the wider business is needed. What you'll bring: Delivery Leadership : Proven experience in a delivery or project leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Team management experience is a plus. Agile Expertise : Deep understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe) with experience leading agile transformations or optimising agile delivery at scale. Stakeholder Management : A track record of managing relationships with senior stakeholders, aligning teams, and navigating complex, cross-functional collaboration. Problem-Solving & Risk Management : Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. Operational Excellence : Demonstrated ability to streamline workflows, optimise resource allocation, and improve overall delivery efficiency. Leadership & Mentoring : A passion for developing others, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability to deliver on strategic goals. The Interview Process: 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom) 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom) 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and present it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (Hiring Manager) (1 hour video via Zoom) 4th: Final interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom) Why Legend?
