Manage daily sawmill operations, focusing on improving productivity, reducing costs, and optimizing lumber quality and recovery. Engage, support, and develop employees through continuous improvement initiatives, performance reviews, and effective communication. Assist in maintenance planning, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure quality and operational goals are consistently met.
