What you will be doing - key responsibilities:
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure the targeted outcome treatment remains on schedule.
• Provide patient instruction/education and provide reports to parents/guardians.
• Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system.
• Placing and removing wires, fitting orthodontic appliances.
• Set up trays and prepare brackets for bonding.
• Take x-rays, photos, and digital impressions.
• Assist in Records and with Treatment Coordinator tasks as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Doctor, Clinical Lead, and Practice Manager.
About you:

What you bring – qualifications:
• Certified Dental Assistant, with successful completion of Orthodontics Module.
• Experience in an orthodontic specialty office is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with dental software systems (we use Ortho2) is an asset to complete tasks such as data entry, patient tracking and imaging.
