Hospitalist – Health Match BC Join to apply for the Hospitalist role at Health Match BC Fraser Health is seeking physicians interested in working in our hospital medicine program at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Applicants should have a strong interest in acute care hospital practice and work collaboratively with all members of the inter‑professional team, including physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health staff. Responsibilities Admissions and management of patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP). Supportive care for some surgical and specialty medical patients. Operate independently with primarily off‑site specialty support by phone. Participate in mandatory overnight coverage (frequency proportional to weeks worked). Collaborate with the inter‑professional team to optimize discharge planning processes and patient care planning. Qualifications Hospitalist experience, fellowship, and/or membership in professional hospital medicine societies. Strong clinical and communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and team‑management abilities. Experience in rural medicine is an asset. Compensation and Employment Compensation Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement. Employment type: Full‑time. Work Environment Day and evening shifts are 7 consecutive days.
