Position Summary Position Summary : The role of Network Analyst will allow you to have the opportunity to combine your technical ability and strategic thinking to provide detail-oriented execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will provide critical support and act as a technical subject matter expert for network services supporting our cloud and on-premises data center sites. Key Responsibilities Automate network operations by developing scripts and tools (Python preferred) to streamline maintenance and monitoring tasks. Support and operate cloud networking solutions that connect thousands of devices nationwide, ensuring reliability and scalability. Plan and execute cloud service deployments, upgrades, and releases with minimal disruption to business operations. Configure and manage connectivity for ExpressRoute and other commercial cloud network services. Implement and support security controls across cloud and on-premises environments. Design, maintain, and support end-to-end IP connectivity (architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting) across Cloud, IP / MPLS, Security, and other IP-based services. Analyze, design, and recommend security solutions for applications and infrastructure; provide expert consulting to internal teams. Maintain technical standards documentation that aligns with industry best practices and organizational requirements; ensure project compliance with established standards. Identify and remediate legacy infrastructure issues (e.g., cabling, hardware, configurations) to optimize performance, free capacity, and improve monitoring. Serve as a technical consultant on projects, contributing to research, design, planning, and evaluation of new network technologies to meet evolving business and customer needs. Manage complex projects by analyzing requirements, developing detailed work plans, coordinating resources, and tracking progress to achieve departmental and business objectives. Provide on-call support to resolve network issues promptly, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and minimizing downtime. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by taking on new responsibilities, contributing to ad hoc initiatives, and maintaining a sense of urgency when resolving issues. Advise leadership on network trends and emerging technologies, while actively pursuing opportunities for personal and professional development. Collaborate with other network staff, sharing technical expertise and facilitating knowledge transfer across the team. Additional Duties and Expectations Promote QHR's "Blue Culture" framework to foster a positive, collaborative, and efficient workplace. Contribute to the organization's positive image internally and externally. Perform other duties consistent with the position, as reasonably directed by your manager. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Networking Technology, IT, or a related field. Certifications such as CCNP R&S, CCNP DC, or similar are considered a strong asset Experience writing Python, preferably with focus on network automation. Understanding of the Cloud Network architecture and the role of each component, preferably with focus on Microsoft Azure. Possess technical skills and experience in the virtual infrastructure domain. 2+ years of Linux System / Network administration. Superior problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve work issues. Assets Experience designing and operating Palo Alto VM series firewalls in Azure. Experience configuring, and troubleshooting BGP, OSPF. Experience configuring networking components of cloud infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including network segmentation, firewall rules, routing, NAT, and load-balancers. Knowledge in network security technology including IPsec, SSL, NAT, PAT, VPN and Firewall, etc. Deep understanding of network protocols, and their applications and characteristic behaviors with the ability to analyze and resolve production issues in a timely fashion, including the analysis of trace data and network flows. Knowledge of large-scale LAN / WAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) with specific knowledge on BGP, OSPF, and integration of carrier-provided circuits (VPLS, EPL, DIA, etc.) Compensation and Logistics Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level.
