The Product Owner will oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of a comprehensive risk management platform. This service provider requires expertise in financial accounting, risk rating, and legal operations, and involves managing multiple lines of business to ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements and strong vendor relationships. The Product Owner will be integral to sustaining and operating the technology ecosystem supporting Backoffice capabilities, managing legacy applications, onboarding new systems, and delivering business value while handling multiple priorities. Primary Responsibilities Define and communicate product vision and strategy. Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value and stakeholder input. Act as the main liaison between business lines, technology, and other teams. Gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders. Manage the product backlog and plan sprints with cross‑functional teams. Identify and address risks in product development. Monitor product performance and provide updates to senior management. Foster collaboration across finance, legal, IT, and operations. Project Requirements Oversee the sustainment and operations of technology supporting Backoffice capabilities. Align product features and enhancements with business value, risk mitigation, and stakeholder input as defined by Platform OKRs. Ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements and internal processes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver on strategic goals and business objectives. Skills Required Product Management Experience: Minimum 5 years, with a focus on risk management, financial accounting, or legal operations. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Excellent skills in managing multiple stakeholders and communicating effectively. Risk Assessment & Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of financial accounting standards, legal regulations, and risk management. Experience managing multiple lines of business and implementing external regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using data‑driven insights for product strategy and decision‑making. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Assets Professional certifications in Product Ownership, risk management, financial accounting, or legal compliance (e.g., CSPO, CPA, CFA, FRM, CISA). Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, ADO). Knowledge of industry‑specific regulatory requirements and standards. Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).
