Junior Engineer, Structural Engineering – Industrial Join BBA Consultants as a Junior Engineer in our Structural Engineering team. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on industrial, mining, metallurgy, energy, petrochemical, environmental, and sustainable development projects. Key Responsibilities Design concrete and steel foundations and structures Coordinate design activities with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines Prepare estimates, technical specifications, and reports Provide quality control of technicians and drafters’ work Assist with estimates, schedules, budgets, and project planning Monitor site work as required and support site inspections and surveys Perform other technical functions to support project delivery Maintain close relationships with clients or their representatives Apply the firm’s health and safety policy and participate in the prevention program Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent education/experience Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec Knowledge of structural analysis software Availability to travel occasionally to client sites and offices Advanced English for collaboration with BBA offices and clients in English‑speaking provinces and internationally Advanced French for collaboration in Québec Desired Assets Experience in finite element calculations Dynamic structural analysis experience ASP Construction card for health and general safety on construction sites (BBA can assist in obtaining the card) Benefits and Compensation Annual base salary and premium program for regular employees Time bank access Onsite mobility premium Cell‑phone program Group insurance plan from day one, including short‑term and long‑term disability and telemedicine Retirement savings plan for regular employees Paid vacation and sick leave Employee referral premium Additional Perks Flexible schedule with office presence and remote work Caring environment with no perceived hierarchy Access to experts and coaching Custom training and development plans Opportunity for site work and career acceleration Fun and collaboration committee BBA has a long history of delivering innovative, flexible, and sustainable engineering solutions.
