Enterprise Architect

We’re partnering with a leading public-sector organization in British Columbia looking for an Enterprise Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership across their enterprise technology landscape. This role will play a key part in ensuring the organization’s business strategy is supported through scalable, secure, and sustainable cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure. This is a 1 year contract with potential to extend - hybrid in Vancouver. What you’ll do: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and business architecture artifacts. Align business strategy with IT capabilities and long-term technology investments. Oversee solution, data, application, and technology architectures across domains. Govern technology standards, integration patterns, and architectural principles. Partner with senior leadership to guide modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions. Provide architectural guidance to project and development teams through governance processes. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards. What you bring: Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with strong knowledge of Azure architecture and services. Background in developing enterprise-level roadmaps and architecture blueprints. Deep understanding of solution, data, and application architecture design. Ability to translate complex business goals into actionable technology strategies. Experience engaging with executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
