Site Engineer

Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities and ensure that tasks are completed on time and according to the set deliverables. Coordinate with project teams and sub-contractors on-site to ensure workflow efficiency. Plan and monitor equipment, supplies, and resources required for the site’s daily operations. Assist project manager to control budget and cost savings. Assign tasks, responsibilities and ensure proper communication between site staff. Support site staff by addressing their concerns and assisting with problem-solving. Conduct briefings or meetings to provide updates, relay information, and discuss on any site issues. Ensure the site adheres to all safety regulations and standards, including conducting safety inspections. Address any safety concerns and report to site safety personnel. Maintain records of daily site activities, including attendance, inventory, or work completion reports. Assist project manager in managing site work and monitoring site progress, and submit shop drawings & materials for consultants’ approval. Handle communications between the site staff, internal management or external parties. Monitor the allocation and usage of supplies, tools, or equipment. Serve as the point of contact for clients, stakeholders, or vendors who visit or interact with the site. Provide updates or reports to project manager regarding the progress of work and any site challenges. Address any operational issues or conflicts that arise on-site. Implement solutions to ensure the site works smoothly and avoid abortive works. Qualifications and Skills Degree in Civil Engineering or its’ equivalent in a related field. Previous experience in site management. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and work independently. Ability to manage teams and foster teamwork. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Familiarity with local safety standards and authorities’ compliance procedures. Ability to use AUTOCAD, proficiency with Microsoft Office. BIM certificate is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
