If youre looking for a purposeful career, we encourage you to apply What you’ll accomplish: Provide expertise, oversight, coaching and guidance to ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and standards Provide project engineering support and execute small to medium sized projects Identify requirements and prepare detailed designs for a variety of projects Conduct risk assessment of new designs Collaborate with tradespeople and operators to propel and implement standards and improvements Identify opportunities for improvement and develop proposals Work with other subject matter experts and operational personnel to solve process problems Recommend and implement department engineering processes and procedures Actively participate in various safety initiatives, including but not limited to: regular safety huddles, safe work plans (SWPs), and safety days What we’re seeking: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial Chemical or Process Engineering from a recognized university. Technologists with applicable experience will be considered Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training in Saskatchewan (APEGS) Preference given to those with experience working at an industrial facility Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) is an asset Knowledge of codes, standards and best engineering practices as applied to mining and milling applications is an asset Work Location & Schedule: McClean Lake mine site 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr
