We've validated strong market demand with a working proof of concept, and we're now adding to our core team of 6 to scale. We’re remote‑first but meet once a week in person to move fast and stay aligned, building a tight Canadian hub in Vancouver and Edmonton. We’re AI‑native to the core, and we want teammates who bring curiosity, horsepower, and that “just hand it to me, I’ll figure it out” energy. Titles matter less than impact. Everyone talks, everyone is learning, everyone ships. About the role We're building an AI-native company, and we need someone who refuses to accept manual toil in DevOps. We're hiring an AI-First DevSecOps Engineer: someone with deep cloud infrastructure and security foundations who wants to reinvent DevOps with AI-powered automation. This role is about building self‑healing infrastructure that stays secure and scales effortlessly. You'll combine cloud, automation, and security expertise to keep our systems running 24/7/365—without burning humans out. If you know uptime, IaC, and security frameworks, and you're obsessed with eliminating manual toil, you'll thrive here. What You’ll Do Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring in the cloud Use AI-powered ops tools for anomaly detection, log analysis, incident prevention, and recovery Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with security baked in Implement modern cloud security practices, ensuring compliance and customer data protection Continuously evolve toward proactive, agentic DevOps: systems that fix themselves before incidents occur What We’re Looking For Strong foundations in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), networking, and DevOps 5-7 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) Familiarity with AI-augmented monitoring/security tools ( Datadog AI, Dynatrace, LLM-based alerting) Knowledge of security frameworks (Zero Trust, SOC2, GDPR basics) Obsession with eliminating manual work, curiosity about emerging tools, and comfort experimenting with new approaches Why Join Us Define what AI-first DevSecOps looks like—this role doesn’t exist yet in most companies Work at the intersection of uptime, security, and automation Directly protect customer and corporate data while enabling developer velocity Grow into a technical leadership role as our infrastructure scales globally Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
