The Position Reporting to the Director of Finance, the senior financial analyst will work closely with the Corporate Finance team to prepare consolidated budgets and forecasts, analyze financial results, and drive data‑based business decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reports, including variance commentary and insights for management. Support the quarterly rolling forecast process by analyzing operating results against budget and providing input for senior‑management review. Contribute to the annual strategic business planning process, including consolidation, review of operational budgets and development of the annual corporate budget. Prepare internal management reports with in‑depth variance analysis against budget and forecast for senior leadership. Collaborate with the Finance team during the monthly, quarterly and annual close process and assist with reporting requirements for external stakeholders and investors. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. Partner with the Financial Systems team to support system implementations and upgrades, including system testing and execution of cutover activities. Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc analyses as required. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or closely related field required. CPA or CFA designation preferred. 3–5 years of FP&A and reporting experience. Mining experience is an asset but not required. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, v‑lookups, workbook linking). Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. Self‑starter with a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities and to work under pressure. Workplace Conditions Corporate head office located in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
