Senior IT Infrastructure Operations Project Manager Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Operations Project Manager to lead technology projects that support our mission of enabling Canadian businesses to grow globally. The role will be based in Ottawa and requires a hybrid work arrangement – 2 days in the office per week – with the option to work from one of our community hubs across Canada. Job Overview As a senior project manager, you will plan, execute, and close technology initiatives on schedule, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure services that align with EDC’s 2030 transformation strategy. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans that incorporate customer requirements and organizational goals. Identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and ensure effective resource allocation. Communicate project status, expectations, and deliverables to all stakeholders. Oversee project scheduling, quality controls, and post‑mortem activities. Lead a cross‑functional team, assigning responsibilities and driving high‑performance collaboration. Prepare and manage procurement activities, including RFPs and vendor engagement. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in technology project management. Proficiency in resource planning, scheduling, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong decision‑making and stakeholder‑management skills. Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow). Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and time‑management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with End‑User Computing and Windows/Mac operating systems. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop. Familiarity with VoIP, Teams Calling, and ITSM/ServiceNow processes. Bilingual in English and French. Benefits Competitive salary range $94,664 to $126,219 plus performance‑based incentive.
