HR Analyst (Workday) role at Tilray Brands, Inc. Location: Toronto, ON (On-Site) Base pay range CAD 60,000 – 85,000 per year Job Summary Reporting to the Director, HCM and Compensation, the HCM and HR Analyst delivers operational and service excellence in HR data and system functions. The role supports HCM system administration, processing, and HR metrics and reporting, and is the Workday technical user for maintaining systems and data quality. This highly technical role requires strong experience with HRIS systems, specifically Workday. Proficiency in building reports within Workday and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables, macros) is essential. Experience with Power BI is an asset. The role involves working with complex data sets and requires a strong analytical mindset to support HR operations and reporting needs. Posting Status: Existing vacancy Responsibilities Act as technical subject‑matter expert for HCM data and systems Develop, collect, analyze and transform workforce data through databases, spreadsheets, and queries Translate findings into visualizations and present to business and HR leadership Support technical requirement development and implementation of HR reporting, dashboards, and visualizations in Workday Responsible for data entry and extraction, data collection, cleaning, validation, and analysis Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting, analysis and integrations; recommend enrichment practices and perform regular cleansing of the Workday system Act as point of contact for complex issues across applicable Workday modules (HCM, absence, time tracking, payroll, benefits, recruiting) Act as point of escalation for system errors or failures while partnering with Payroll, Finance, IT, and/or third‑party vendors to resolve issues Lead Workday updates: review release notes, plan and coordinate testing, and roll out releases Support technical requirement development for HR processes and full‑cycle Workday implementations, including new modules, mergers and acquisitions, divestment, reorganization, and restructuring Support change management, communication, training development and execution Assist in HR processes harmonization and improvement initiatives Document system SOPs Support SOX/Audit compliance deliverables with internal and external auditors Manage day‑to‑day execution of work, including HRIS ticketing inbox Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field Four years of current experience in HCM systems, workforce reporting, and HR operations Two years of Workday full‑cycle implementation experience Technical knowledge and configuration experience on Workday Recruitment, Absence, and Time Tracking modules Workday Payroll and Integration experience is an asset Experience using Workday’s Report Writer, Worksheets, and Discovery Board Advanced proficiency in Excel (IF statements, nested formulas, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, pivot tables, macros) Strong analytical skills in workforce reporting (create, analyze, interpret HR metrics) Basic understanding of HR functional concepts and processes Basic understanding of local and global employment standards and requirements Technical mindset – integrating business needs with HR technology solutions Demonstrable ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multi‑task, and work extended hours to meet deadlines Ability to work independently in global, cross‑regional, and cross‑functional capacity Attention to detail in managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision Proposes solutions and follows through to resolve complex problems in a busy environment Total Rewards Vacation time & paid personal time off Extended health, dental & vision benefits Health care spending account Cannabis benefits & employee discounts Performance‑based incentives Employee & family assistance program Growth and internal mobility opportunities Tilray welcomes applications from all qualified individuals and is committed to employment equity and diversity in the workplace.
