Columbia Remtec Manufacturing is a Transport Canada and DOT certified cargo tank trailer manufacturer. We are currently seeking reliable, motivated production welders. Successful candidates must be experienced and punctual. Must be able to preform tasks that include, but not limited to the following:- Read and interpret welding blueprints, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.- Able to pass welding test/verifications for aluminum GMAW and/or GTAW- Fit-up and weld parts, sub assemblies, container vessels, etc.- Correct and safe use of production tools- Maintain a clean and safe work environment- Follow written and verbal instructions- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude- Able to work overtime as neededRequirements and qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training- 2+ years experience working in an industrial production environment- Math, reading and writing skills- Proficient mechanical skills- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching- Able to operate industrial machinery and equipmentSuccessful candidates will receive very competitive wages based upon experience.Benefits include Group life insurance, extended health and dental, RRSP with company contribution, and a tool allowance.Work schedule will be Monday to Friday (6:15 am to 2:30 pm). Overtime may be available during the week and/or Saturdays.
