Program Manager, Facilities Company: CMH Heli‑Skiing & Summer Adventures Location: Banff, Alberta, hybrid options available with a minimum in‑office commitment per week. Reports to: Director, Facilities Employment type: Full‑time, year‑round FLSA status: Exempt Number of positions: 1 Desired start date: December 2025 Posting close date: December 2, 2025 Position Overview The Program Manager, Facilities will manage the facilities department’s day‑to‑day programming, providing operational support for projects and administrative responsibilities. The role requires clear communication, detail orientation, and problem‑solving skills to coordinate projects such as the AB & BC Occupational Health & Safety Committees and the company‑wide Isolated Worker Program. Role and Essential Responsibilities Work with senior leadership to build a culture prioritizing safety and operational excellence while achieving financial results. Develop and implement strategic goals aligned with CMH’s business strategy. Create and apply performance objectives to meet business and guest expectations. Participate in meetings with leadership and project teams, providing timely inputs. Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and reports to manage department program needs. Collaborate with managers, departments, and stakeholders across the Facilities department. Serve as the lead contact for day‑to‑day facility needs at CMH office locations (Banff, AB). Act as the primary contact for managing contract and service agreements for head‑office facilities. Research and evaluate vendors to support operational needs. Provide support to the Facilities SharePoint site and the frontline Maintenance Technician team. Lead capital‑planning projects and support annual budgeting for capital and operating expenditures. Manage the AB Occupational Health & Safety Committee and support the BC committee. Develop policies related to OHS, WorkSafe AC, AB WCB, and related programs. Prioritize and manage multiple projects, creating detailed action plans. Support sustainability, DEI, and OHS initiatives. Provide training and support during emergency response situations. Minimum Qualifications Post‑secondary education in facility maintenance, project management, or logistics. High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Practical experience in project management and/or logistics. 2+ years of experience with data entry, document creation, scheduling, and construction practices. Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract for the past 5 years. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Timely problem‑solving ability. Organized, detail‑oriented, with strategic planning skills. Clear, effective communication at all levels. Confidentiality and professionalism. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software. Prioritization skills in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment. Trustworthy, goal‑oriented, respectful, and self‑directed. Confidence to interact across a hub‑and‑spoke model with many remote employees. Working Conditions Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Manual dexterity to operate computers and office equipment. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Frequent travel within CMH areas and other business locations.
