Overview We are seeking a dedicated Liquor Store Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive sales growth in a fast‑paced retail setting. Responsibilities Direct and control daily store operations, evaluate performance, and plan weekly schedules. Manage staff, assign duties, conduct performance reviews, and supervise 5–10 people. Study market research and trend data to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise mix. Determine inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock. Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions. Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and maintain profitability. Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages. Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Qualifications & Experience Education: College, CEGEP, or other non‑university certificate or diploma (1–2 years) or equivalent experience. Experience: 1–2 years in retail or liquor store management. Skills: Strong knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems, inventory control software, email, spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Outlook. Transportation: Must own reliable transportation; public transport available. Work Conditions Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure. Requires attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
