Our AI-powered SEO Agents allow us to implement holistic SEO at scale and automate the most time-consuming aspects of SEO We’re looking for a Web Development Manager to guide our team in building world-class web solutions. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll mentor developers, set technical standards, and still contribute code at a high level. Responsibilities Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to drive technical excellence Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for maintainability and security Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and deliverables Oversee hosting and infrastructure (Kinsta, WPEngine, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, SquareSpace) to ensure performance, uptime, and security Design, build, and maintain custom WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow websites Implement and manage technical and on‑page SEO best practices (Core Web Vitals, schema, site speed optimization) Troubleshoot complex issues across browsers and devices while staying up to date on emerging web technologies Nice to Have ✨ Experience with A/B testing tools (VWO, OptinMonster, UserPilot) Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) Familiarity with headless CMS architectures Knowledge of RESTful API design and development Requirements Proven experience Managing and leading a Web Development team or similar leadership role with a track record of delivering successful projects Deep expertise in WordPress development and strong command of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Strong understanding of technical SEO and on‑page SEO practices Experience with hosting platforms, domain management, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, GSC, GTM) Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders Business level English + a proactive, dynamic, and positive attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities A strong portfolio showcasing your past web development work Salary & Benefits $5,000-$6,000 USD per month/depending on your location and skills/experience- must be located in Canada 15 Days Paid Time Off + Christmas Day + New Year's Day Paid Off Our Recruitment Process Step 1: Initial screening call with our recruitment team Step 2: Assessment to showcase your skills (2-2.5hours) Step 3: Final interview with our Hiring Manager Step 4: Offer extended Life at Search Atlas Group We are committed to fostering a healthy work‑life balance, innovation, and a collaborative, inclusive culture—no matter where you work.
