What the Role Offers OpenText Corp is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Solution Delivery. This individual will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams within the IT organization and will be the lead on various initiatives within the IT domain. The role is accountable for working closely with our application and internal technology teams to design, develop, and implement systems and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical projects, optimizing operational processes, and leading cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Lead IT-related solutions/programs, working with stakeholders and within the team to develop aggressive, yet achievable, delivery roadmaps. Accountable for high-level and detailed technical design content, completion, and quality. Drive and contribute to project solutions (JAD sessions), gather input and document design. Back-fill role gaps (Business Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects) as needed. Facilitate requirements/scope trade-offs with application teams, business sponsors, and demand organizations. Support Architecture (Enterprise and Solution Architects) in defining the overall solution approach in partnership with Technology stakeholders and vendors. Work with the PM, Application teams, and Governance in the creation and management of governance/gating artifacts. Support testing teams/activities: test plan/case consultation and manage defect triage with appropriate application teams. Liaise with other Technology Solution Delivery groups including Network and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and application support for the business. Partner with shared services teams (project management office, release management, quality assurance, business analysis, and change management) to develop realistic project plans that clearly state project deliverables and timelines. Manage project and portfolio budgets and assist in managing cost center financials. Endorse quality, innovation, and timely communication of issues/opportunities. Coach team members in delivery, issue management, and risk management. What You Need To Succeed Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of experience in the information technology field and 5+ years of experience in a technical solution delivery role in a fast-paced/agile environment. Experience in owning & supporting Content Management, SDLC and AI tooling. Previous team management experience (including goal setting, performance management, tracking deliverables, recruitment, etc). Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex IT projects and programs. Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing the “big picture” with day-to-day needs of the organization. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across technical and non-technical resources. Familiar with and comfortable utilizing the Scrum methodology. Ability to inform, educate, and influence managers and employees to support goals in a matrix environment. Self-starter attitude, a strong desire to learn, and belief in contributing to the team, the business users, and the organization.
