We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRT (Medical Radiation Technologist) to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care through the accurate performance of diagnostic tests and procedures.Competencies Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per established protocols and timelines. Ensure the proper operation of equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and procedures performed. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and contribute to patient care decisions. Educate patients about procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout their experience.Skills Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting results. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues in a compassionate manner. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Familiarity with relevant software applications for managing patient data and test results.Core deliverables General X-ray Radiation safety Quality initiatives Pain management Accreditation activities Mammography/BMD are considered an asset but are not mandatory to applyLicense/Certification/Education ACMDTT/CAMRT Membership (required)Work Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience is preferred Proven track record of performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in a fast-paced clinical or hospital setting Demonstrated experience in operating and maintaining radiographic equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards Strong understanding of radiologic positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation protection protocols History of producing accurate, high-resolution images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care Consistent compliance with HIPAA regulations and policies related to imaging and patient confidentialityJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, CasualPay: $45.00-$50.00 per hourBenefits: Company events Dental care Employee assistance program Extended health care Flexible schedule Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Relocation assistance RRSP match Vision careLicence/Certification: ACCLXT Membership (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline:
