Overview Process Planner Manufacturing Engineer role at Raytheon ELCAN, located in Midland, Ontario, Canada. Raytheon ELCAN is a global leader in high-precision optical systems. This role supports the Plano Optics Department within the Manufacturing Engineering Team, focusing on developing, optimizing, and maintaining department processes and work instructions. Responsibilities Develop, optimize and maintain department processes and work instructions. Collaborate with co-workers and Operations team members to troubleshoot and navigate production and customer challenges. Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives as part of day-to-day activities. Work with skilled professionals and leverage advanced technologies to contribute to Raytheon ELCAN projects. Qualifications Experience working in a Precision Optics Production environment. Analytical reasoning and decision-making with business acumen. Proactive team builder with strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed. Demonstrated interest in process improvement. Highly motivated with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge through study, instruction or experience. Education and Technical Requirements Certification of Optical Apprenticeship is an asset. Minimum 5 years of experience working with precision optics (Plano Optics an asset). Technical ability to interpret drawings. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
