Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Full ownership and end‑to‑end project management of assigned IT infrastructure and data centre projects, delivering on‑time, on‑budget, and to high‑quality standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts (Project Charter, detailed schedules, budget/forecasts, risk/issue logs, status reports, change requests, closure reports, presentations, etc.). Provide clear, executive‑level reporting on status, risks, interdependencies, and issues. Prepare decision‑making materials and business cases for governance and senior leadership. Lead planning, design, scoping, and costing of infrastructure implementations. Act as the primary CTIS project focal point for Health Authorities and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with technical teams, facility operations, architecture, vendors, and clinical/program areas. Manage vendor resources and hold them accountable to contract deliverables. Lead, performance‑manage, and motivate cross‑functional project teams. Facilitate consensus, ensure organizational change readiness, and incorporate change management principles. Coordinate and support changes/upgrades to LIVE critical systems with minimal clinical impact. Ensure all work adheres to Technology Alignment, PQTO policies, and provincial standards. Required Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of progressive experience successfully project‑managing complex, enterprise‑level IT infrastructure and data centre projects. Minimum 5 years operating as a Senior Technical Project Manager within a large enterprise delivery or structured PMO environment. Proven track record delivering storage, compute, virtualization, networking, and data centre migration/expansion projects (on‑premise and cloud). Direct experience working within the Health Authority environment is valued (PHSA, VCH, Fraser Health, etc.). Experience developing business cases, project charters, and executive presentations with strong business and technical writing skills. Demonstrated experience coordinating changes and upgrades to live critical/clinical systems. Broad technical knowledge of data centres, virtual servers, storage arrays, structured cabling, networking, network architecture, and cloud technologies. Strong vendor and contract management experience. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects with frequently changing priorities. Exceptional stakeholder management, consensus‑building, and conflict‑resolution skills, including experience working with Senior Executives and clinical leaders. Experience handling sensitive, high‑pressure, and politically complex situations with tact and professionalism. Certifications & Education Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred (ITIL foundation accepted). Degree or diploma in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). Technical & Professional Skills Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Superior analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and able to work with minimal supervision. Proven team and relationship builder. Assets Past project management experience with Clinical Information Systems (e.g., Cerner, Meditech, Epic).
