Job Overview Senior Municipal Engineer at WSP in Canada. This role is located at our Regina or Saskatoon office and reports to the Manager, Land Development & Municipal Engineering - Saskatchewan. Responsibilities Assist in the growth of WSP’s Municipal Engineering presence in Saskatchewan by expanding our public sector and indigenous community municipal engineering client base and project portfolio. Provide project management, engineering and technical expertise, covering project planning, studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction services for public sector and indigenous communities municipal engineering projects. Build, lead, and manage multidisciplinary project teams with support from regional and national offices, focused on client‑specified requirements. Drive productivity, motivation, and performance; ensure compliance with established quality and production procedures; provide leadership to sustain a culture of continual improvement and client satisfaction. Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors. Uphold the company’s core values and maintain Health and Safety at the highest level. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering. Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGS. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of the Saskatchewan market. Must possess a proven track record in business development, including a strong existing client base in public sector and/or indigenous community municipal engineering projects. Demonstrated success in customer services, client management and proposal/report writing. Must possess strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to lead and manage a diverse team. Ability to work independently. Ability to mentor junior staff. About WSP WSP is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
