Collaborating closely with both technology and business teams to ensure project success
Coordinating schedules, setting up meetings and following up with teams to track progress
Lead meetings and diligently taking meeting minutes to document action items
Maintaining and updating the RAID log
Managing project plan, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring that deadlines are met
Regularly provide updates and reports on project status to Director, SI&D Delivery Services
IT Project Manager - Project Financials/Financial Forecasting - Mandatory Skills
5-7+ years of working experience as an IT Project Manager with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
3+ years of hands-on experience with generating and distributing reports
3+ years of hands-on experience managing project financials – Monitoring project budgets and financial forecasting
Intermediate MS Excel proficiency – Must have the ability to create reports and utilize formulas to analyze data effectively
Understanding of infrastructure and application technologies – You will be working closely with teams across IT infrastructure, software development and business domains
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
