Senior UX/UI Designer We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Platform UX Team, focusing on scaling and evolving the core Asio Design System . Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas Lead component design and craftsmanship: Build, maintain, and own the Figma design system library, ensuring all components and patterns are reusable, accessible, and optimized for designer use (advanced Auto Layout, Variants, component nesting). Ensure 1:1 parity between Figma design components and the corresponding React code library. Document intricate component interaction and usage guidelines (Do’s and Don’ts) within the Asio platform. Lead component quality assurance, proactively testing visual and interactive quality in both code and Figma. Governance, Influence, and Collaboration: Act as a subject‑matter expert to UX designers, guiding component audits, variant identification, and system amendments. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define feasibility, review implementation, and facilitate release of new components into the shared codebase. Control and manage the system’s contribution pipeline (review, approve, merge new variants & amendments). Facilitate regular design system reviews with UX designers and engineering to maintain UI consistency and system integrity. Contribute to the system backlog and roadmap in relation to platform feature deployment and technical debt reduction. Required Qualifications 6+ years of progressive UX/UI design experience, with at least 3+ years focused on building, managing, and scaling large‑scale design systems or platforms. Expert-level mastery of Figma (or comparable tool) and advanced features (Auto Layout, Variants, Component Nesting). Deep knowledge of atomic design principles, design tokens, and system governance methodologies. Hands‑on understanding of how components are built in code (HTML, CSS, React). Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, design system contributions, component documentation, and cross‑functional impact. Excellent communication and influential skills; able to present and defend system‑level design decisions. Strong collaborative skills, growth mindset, and proven adaptability in a fast‑paced, agile environment. Good to Have Direct professional experience working with React component libraries. Experience designing for Accessibility (WCAG) and Internationalization within design systems. Experience with responsive layouts and theme conversions (e.g., Dark Mode). Experience with advanced documentation tools (e.g., Storybook, Zeroheight). Working Conditions Remote/Hybrid depending on location.
