Our work culture includes a dynamic mix of professionals, with a diversity of skills and expertise.As a member of our Fort Hills Mine Mobile Reliability team, you’ll play a key role in improving safety, reliability, and cost efficiency, while driving best practices and continuous improvement for Mining mobile equipment.**Minimum Requirements:*** 8 years of progressive experience in project management or engineering roles within the oil & gas industry, preferably in mining* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or related discipline* Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)* Strong organizational and prioritization skills* Demonstrated experience managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management and sustainment* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, SAP)* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement* Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to travel to remote sites as required**Key Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify, assess, and prioritize reliability improvement opportunities* Develop and maintain muti-year reliability initiatives roadmap, ensuring projects are sequenced for maximum impact and resource efficiency* Track and report progress of reliability initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.* Support SME in the development and implementation of reliability projects, including project plans, schedules, deliverables and adherence to timelines, budget and quality standards* Facilitate meetings, workshops, and effective communication among internal teams, contractors, and external partners to gather input, review progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment.* Assist in preparing business cases, funding requests, and project documentation* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams at Fort Hills and Calgary throughout all project phases* Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions as needed* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements* Identify risks and support mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion* Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability* Identify opportunities to optimize project portfolio, execution, and outcomes**Location and other Key Details:*** The shift schedule is a 4 days on / 3 days off rotation* You will work out of our camp-based Fort Hills mining site, located in Alberta’s Athabasca region, 90 kilometers' north of Fort McMurray, Alberta on a FIFO (Fly-in Fly-out) from Calgary or Edmonton or BIBO (Bus-in-Bus-out) for Fort McMurray residents.Suncor's operations include oil sands development, production and upgrading; offshore oil and gas; petroleum refining in Canada and the U.S.; and the company's Petro-Canada retail and wholesale distribution networks (including Canada's Electric Highway, a coast-to-coast network of fast-charging electric vehicle stations).With a strong strategy for growth and our long-standing approach to sustainability, operational excellence, capital discipline and technology and innovation, Suncor offers a solid foundation for you to continue building your career.
