Key Responsibilities Oversee financial reporting for the facility. Lead cost accounting, job costing, and inventory management activities. Partner with operations to identify cost savings, margin improvements, and process efficiencies. Provide clear variance analysis and actionable insights for leadership. Reconciliation of inventory and tracking of inventory/material allocations to specific equipment fabrication projects. Maintain and enhance product costing models in a high-mix manufacturing environment. Perform variance analysis (labor, materials, overhead) and communicate findings to management. Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and capital project tracking. Partner with operations to support lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. Manage reporting tools within accounting systems, ensuring reliable financial and operational insights. Review costs of manufacturing, overhead and G&A expense analysis, and provide recommendations for overhead absorption rates and cost management initiatives. Facilitate facilities and complete corporate requests and audits. May perform other tasks as deemed appropriate. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or CMA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting with a minimum of 3+ years in cost accounting or plant controllership roles. Experience in high-mix manufacturing required; heavy manufacturing experience preferred. Strong ERP experience required. Proven technical accounting, variance analysis, and financial reporting skills. Strong leadership and team development skills. Hands‑on approach with the ability to collaborate across departments. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. High integrity and commitment to a positive, engaged workforce. On‑site in the manufacturing facility. Compensation Salary range $90,000 to $100,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications. Three (3) weeks of vacation. Ten (10) paid days off (sick days). Health benefits package after ninety (90) day probationary period, includes dental and vision. Retirement savings plan contribution once two years of continuous full‑time employment has been achieved. Access to company vehicle for deliveries and pickups. Potential for tuition reimbursement. Schedule Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Other Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
