Senior Associate, Engineering at ML6 Search + Talent Advisory We are partnering with a client who is a global leader in engineering solutions for complex and demanding environments. They’re looking to add an experienced Electronics Hardware Designer to their team. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading the design and development of new and customized electronic products. Designing ruggedized boards covering power, analog, digital, and microcontroller circuits. Supporting embedded code development for microcontrollers and programmable FPGAs. Translating requirements into detailed product specifications. Selecting and evaluating components to meet strict performance and environmental standards. Preparing and maintaining BoMs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation. Contributing to PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and production transfer. Ensuring designs meet safety, EMC, and industry standards. Participating in feasibility studies, DfM reviews, and simulations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production, supply chain, and customer challenges. What You’ll Need To Be Successful: BASc/BEng in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of electronics design experience, or an Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma with 7+ years. Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Mentor PADs, or similar). Solid understanding of electronic principles and circuit design techniques. Experience with Ethernet, opto-electronics, sensors, and multi-gigabit designs is a strong asset. Excellent documentation and communication skills. A creative, detail-oriented approach with a passion for continuous improvement. Strong initiative and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
