Working with the Sr. Director, Health and Safety – directly manage a team of Health and Safety Managers supporting multiple Canadian Districts. In coordination with District Leaders, a significant percentage of this role will be to attend and conduct Health and Safety site inspections and audits (“boots‑on‑the‑ground”) to ensure compliance with Clean Harbors Health and Safety Policies, Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Safe Work Practices. Audit Health and Safety team performance and compliance to Health and Safety Program core elements. Facilitate or guide and review Incident Investigations. Develop, conduct and/or audit Safety Meetings designed to promote a better understanding of Company/Client Health and Safety Policies, Standards, Procedures and Guidelines. In collaboration with District Operations Leaders, develop, revise and conduct task‑specific risk assessments. Prepare safety reports and present the information to management. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Certificate in Industrial Hygiene, Safety or related programs is strongly preferred. Minimum 10 years of related health and safety experience. Experience working within Industrial Services environments is an asset. Excellent communication, writing, presentation and organizational skills. Ability to travel a minimum 30% of time.
