We are looking for a French Bilingual Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 9 months contract with high possibility of extension. Office is based in Montreal but role is fully remote. Job Overview We are supporting a large digital marketplace organization that is undergoing a billing modernization and transformation initiative. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and financially disciplined Bilingual Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist (English/French) to support critical revenue operations. This position will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting system transition activities, reconciling transactions, improving billing performance, and ensuring strong internal control compliance. Candidates who excel in AR execution, high volume billing, reconciliation, and structured financial documentation will be a strong fit for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities Generate, prepare, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule Manage payment application, account reconciliation, variance investigation and resolution Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation for billing and AR activities Monitor billing accuracy, identify operational gaps, and collaborate on corrective adjustments Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Billing Operations, Customer Success and RevOps teams Support Billing System transition initiatives, stabilization, and process optimization efforts Contribute to continuous improvement in revenue cycle efficiency and internal control compliance Uphold strong data integrity standards and ensure accurate reporting within AR systems Required Qualifications Fully Bilingual: English + French Experience within Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections or Financial Operations Strong knowledge of cash application workflows and reconciliation processes High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, accuracy-driven Proficiency with accounting software + advanced usage of Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and professionalism in stakeholder interaction Preferred Strengths (nice to have) Experience supporting finance transformation / ERP/Billing transitions Understanding of internal control frameworks and audit-based billing environments Prior exposure to tech / marketplace / digital commerce is an asset
