Looking to join an amazing team? Then we want to hear from you Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor based out of New Brunswick. Applications must be received no later than Monday, October 27th. Tentative start date of January 5, 2026 and end date of January 5, 2029. Position Overview As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for site monitoring of the construction activities, ensuring the Contractor conducts work safely and effectively in accordance with the project plan, on schedule and within budget. This includes managing all site activities, conducting site meetings and regular reporting to the Construction Manager. The Construction Supervisor will be required to work on site specifically between Memramcook and Salisbury, NB. Key Responsibilities Directs, manages and coordinates all activities on site Works with the Contractor to coordinate work activities to ensure cost and schedule targets are met Coordinates with the Materials Planner to arrange for materials to be provided to the contractor Monitors, evaluates and reports progress against construction schedule Ensures quality of the work and deficiency identification and correction Ensures Contractor secures the site Participates in and supports construction risk assessment process Identifies change requests Responsible for enforcing Field Change Authorization process Monitor site to ensure compliance with project Safety Plan, Environmental Protection Plan and Quality Plan and provides status reports to the team for activities under their responsibilities Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in a leadership role within construction projects is required Minimum of 5 years field experience in an industrial environment is required Substation construction and / or maintenance would be considered an asset Self motivated, ability to work independently or in a team environments Must have a valid driver’s license Must be fluent in English reading, writing, speaking Relevant experience as a Construction Site Supervisor Proficiency in document creation and editing (Microsoft Office Products such as Work PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel) Key Competencies Well-developed interpersonal skills are necessary in order to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing requirements to a wide range of client groups (internal and external). Skilled in coaching of co-workers and contractors, negotiation, mediation of disputes or differences of opinion and conflict resolution Self-motivated, ability to work independently or in a team environment and provide leadership, support, direction, and consultation to a wide range of people Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong organization skills to meet project deadlines Willing to travel, participate in activities, network and build relationships Detail-orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize, analyze and report on various parameters and data sets Ability to learn to use new tools and adapt existing tools to the task at hand Ability to proactively detect challenges to safety, quality, cost and schedule that will ensure development and execution of effective prevention, mitigation, or corrective actions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
