We are seeking a talented and experienced Electronic Engineer with a background in aerospace and defense to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to design, develop, and test the electronic hardware that powers our core technologies, from sensors and communication systems to power management and control boards. What You Will Do: PCB Design: Design and layout complex multi-layer PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) from schematic capture to final Gerber file generation. Component Selection: Specify and select electronic components, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, power regulators, RF modules, and sensors, based on design requirements, cost, and availability. Power & Signal Integrity: Develop robust power distribution systems and ensure signal integrity in high-speed and low-power circuits. Prototyping & Testing: Build, test, and debug electronic prototypes, performing rigorous validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and reliability standards. System Integration: Collaborate closely with our Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and Software teams to integrate electronic hardware into our final products. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, bill of materials (BOM), and test procedures. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering. 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or drone industries. Proficiency with professional EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD). Demonstrated knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design. Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming (e.g., in C/C++). Strong understanding of signal integrity, power management, and EMI/EMC principles. Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electronic systems. Why Join VisionWave?
