Electrical Services, Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Power Systems Join to apply for the Electrical Services, Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Power Systems role at Toromont Cat As an enthusiastic service oriented team player, the Electrical Services Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Power Systems will focus on achieving annual Electrical Services revenue growth through proactive sales communications and relationship building as the key contact for assigned customers and aging equipment inventory. This ISR will also focus on prospecting aged equipment and providing proposals as well as supporting our outside Electrical Services Sales Managers including business and process administration. This opportunity could ultimately lead to an Account Manager position for successful incumbents. Develop response to customer needs and prepare quotes, technical submissions, etc. Engage the Electrical Services and Power Systems teams as required to develop and execute the business. Leverage standard quotes, submittals, and consists to maximize use of inventory units Establish, qualify, build and manage customer relationships with small to medium sized customers Plan and execute communication campaigns for both inbound customer inquiries and outbound follow up Provide inside sales support and directly contribute to the achievement of annual sales revenue targets with the Account Managers (AMs) serving the Electrical Services market segment Develop short to medium (1-2 years) range territory plans to prospect new business within the assigned customer base and revenue targets Use and internally promote CAT digital tools such as CAT inspect with Toromont technicians to help generate sales lead in which the ISR can action and propose solutions with the customer. Complete administrative portion of the role required to properly follow up on Quotelog pipeline, including but not limited to proper use of Saleslink, iMACS, Quotelog, and other reporting tools. Ensure good record keeping, providing enough information to allow management to make good business decisions. Develop or assist in developing new business tools and process, supporting continuous improvement, driving operational efficiency, increasing job satisfaction, and driving business results Must-haves for this role Post Secondary Education with a technical focus and 2-5 years experience in a customer facing position Relevant industry knowledge (Electric Power Generation, Industrial, Marine, Electrical Services) Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, generators, switchgear, controls, and transfer switches Customer centric with strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and relationship building skills to collaborate with cross functional teams Superior communication, organizational, planning and negotiation skills High aptitude for delivering results in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-driven environment with constantly changing priorities Solid business and financial acumen with engaging presentation skills Extremely computer literate with proficiencies in contact management and MS Office Applications Being bilingual is a requirement – French and English (written and spoken) About Toromont Cat Power Systems Toromont Cat Power Systems is an industry leader in the supply and integration of backup and prime power generation systems, rental generators, marine engines and industrial engines through customized engineering and packaging.
