Knix is opening at Conestoga Mall We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager who can help build, lead, and develop a team in partnership with the Store Manager to create an inclusive environment. You will coach and develop associates across sales, service, product knowledge, and operational excellence. You will lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experience from the moment guests enter the store and build a sense of community, engage new customers, and drive results. The Opportunity Coach and develop the team and promote a positive, fun working environment. Manage business aspects of the shop: P&L ownership, sales planning. Support hiring, training, and development of an exceptional team. Open and close the store, consistently meeting Knix standards. Report on daily store targets. Create a comfortable end‑to‑end customer experience. Stay knowledgeable on product assortment and wear the products. Merchandise products effectively to reflect the brand and drive sales. Handle issues or opportunities accurately and confidently. Continuously improve cleanliness, set‑up, and organization. Qualifications Previous retail lead/management experience with a similar team size or store volume. Ability to lead the team to drive business results and deliver customer excellence. Proven experience recruiting, developing, and retaining a high‑performing team. Experience planning and executing community events (in‑store or out‑of‑store) is an asset. Open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Eligibility Requirements Legally authorized to work in Canada and 18 + years of age. Able to lift and handle packages up to 25 lbs.
