Marketing and Content Lead (Part-Time/Contract) Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid with occasional in-person meetings) Start Date: December 2025 About Us Tressionis a fast-growing, mission-driven startup building something bold from the ground up. About the Role As Marketing & Content Lead , you’ll own the end-to-end marketing engine—from launch strategy and execution to story telling. You’ll craft the brand narrative, create engaging content across channels, and turn insights into campaigns that convert. You’re not just here to support—you’re here to help us grow smarter, more efficiently, and build Tression together from the ground up. What You’ll Do: Build a 6-month go-to-market plan covering DTC, paid, and organic channels Define KPIs, budgets, and testing roadmap; track performance and ROI Own end-to-end content production Create and manage a multichannel content calendar (video, photo, copy, UGC, email, blog) Direct shoots, create content, edit assets, and tailor creative for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube. Grow and engage social communities Scale audience from launch to 30k+ engaged followers within three months Lead daily engagement, trend-spotting, and brand-ambassador/influencer collaborations Build segmentation, automated flows, and campaigns in Klaviyo (welcome, nurture, loyalty) Analyze funnel metrics, run A/B tests, and iterate for continuous improvement Collaborate cross-functionally Partner with founder on brand voice, PR outreach, and website copy Coordinate with other team members to ensure consistent messaging and timely content Who You Are Must-Have Skills 3-6 years in brand and product marketing, social media management, or content production (DTC/fashion/health & wellness preferred). Proven track record scaling one or more channels to 20k+ engaged followers or driving 6-figure DTC revenue. A creative enthusiast with a strong attention to detail. Own suitable content creation technology for a high quality content generation. Strong copywriting and on-camera personality. Experienced with video editing chops for social channels (Adobe CC, CapCut, or similar). Data-driven mindset; comfortable in Meta/TikTok Ads Manager, and basic Excel/Sheets analytics. Project-management ninja: you hit deadlines, wrangle creatives, and thrive in a lean startup. Highly organized, independent, proactive, and detail-oriented. A natural problem-solver who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. A quick learner who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments. Excited to grow with a startup and wear multiple hats. Excellent communicator (both written and verbal). Tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Google Drive, Notion, Slack, and Canva. Flexible to work different weekly schedules.
