With a rich history spanning over 130 years, Boart Longyear is committed to delivering excellence in safety, drilling services, and technology.We are currently seeking a**Total Rewards & Mobility Advisor, Drilling Services**to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City, UT.**Responsibilities:**Administer the Canadian pension planCollect, reconcile, and review participant data u2013 identifying and resolving issues as they arise.Prepare termination, retirement, and death benefits packages for members of pension plans.Calculate and prepare event statements and payment authorizations from pension administration system or manually.Review and analyze membership data.Prepare annual member statements.Calculate Pension Adjustments (PA), Pension Adjustment Reversals (PAR), and Past Service Pension Adjustments (PSPA)Communicate with employees and HRBPu2019s regarding pension plan.Assist employees with new enrollments, changes, and access to account information.Complete all required pension reporting and filing.Perform all work in accordance with rigorous quality control and audit requirements.Interpret and apply the provisions of the plans and the various applicable laws.Produce ad hoc reports.Oversee total rewards for North America including:Compensation (Comp Workbench)Support with compensation plan design, long-term incentives, annual bonus plan calculations, annual salary planning, and grade/range movementPartner with HR/IT on performance management and HR systemsSupport online employee awards and recognition program (Bravo)Communicate and support Employee Assistance Program (Telus Health/Blomquist Hale)Assist with employee mobility between Canada, the United States, and other countries as requiredServe as liaison with external counsel as neededCoordinate, administer and ensure compliance of all immigration and relocation assignments in Canada and the United StatesDevelop, implement and manage immigration and relocation policies and processes for Drilling Services Canada and USAssist assignees with immigration needs and manage policy exceptionsEducate stakeholders on immigration mattersAdvise management and HR business partners on policy applicabilityCounsel assignees on the international assignment, immigration, and tax equalization policiesAnalyze and report on assignment activity to HRPrepare and review cost projections and assignment approvals for senior managementPrepare and review assignment lettersCoordinate across borders on assignment set-up, payroll and ongoing issuesDevelop relationships and liaise with external service companies for the international relocation, tax, social security and immigration servicesManage and update housing and other allowancesSupport North America & EMEA Drilling Services with communicationsUpdate and maintain the Underground intranet pageDevelop and distribute internal communicationsOther HR tasks as needed**Qualifications:**Bacheloru2019s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Compensation, or a related fieldHR certification an assetExperience with pension plans (Defined Contribution)Experience with compensation and total rewards3+ years of progressive experience in Human ResourcesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) requiredPositive attitude, team oriented, ability to actively listen and adaptExcellent attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks in a changing environmentDemonstrated ability to form relationships with key stakeholdersStrong commitment to client service**Company Overview**Established in 1890, Boart Longyear is the worldu2019s leading provider of drilling services, orebody knowledge technology, and innovative, safe, and productivity-driven drilling equipment.
