Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role for a Sanitation / Janitor position based in North York, ON. In this role, you will maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and surfaces, handling waste disposal, and maintaining janitorial supplies. Additional duties may include assisting with training staff on sanitation protocols and working collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Qualifications Proficiency in sanitation and adherence to food safety standards Knowledge of food and beverage handling practices and hygiene requirements Effective communication and teamwork skills Experience in training team members on sanitation and safety protocols is an asset Attention to detail and the ability to follow proper cleaning procedures and schedules Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Human Resources Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
